Deborah Barit, small business owner, recruitment specialist and author, is teaming up with Damien Lynch, a leading small business writer, to develop a practical resource book on how to be successful employers and employees in the small business sector.The authors would like to talk with small business owners and employees from a cross-section of industries throughout Australia, to hear your thoughts and experiences on recruitment and employment in small business. We are interested in the processes you follow, and what are your tips and solutions.
The people we are looking for include:
- small business owners who already employ between 2 and 20 staff and plan to hire more;
- small business owners who have no staff but outsource some functions for example accounting, IT, marketing, administration, sales etc.
- small business owners who have staff but still outsource some business functions;
- small business owners who haven't employed staff and plan to remain solo;
- employees working in small business for the first time;
- employees who have worked for a small business over the last 3 years;
- employees who have worked for a small business for more than 3 years.
